カナダの動物保護団体「ノーザンリーチネットワーク」に保護された「タイニー・ティム」という名前の犬は、ある事情から左の前足を負傷し手術を受けました。うまく歩けない「タイニー・ティム」を心配したのは、同じ施設で保護されている「ニモ」という先輩犬でした。

カナダの動物保護団体「ノーザンリーチネットワーク」に保護された生後２か月の「タイニー・ティム」という子犬は、カナダのオンタリオ州北部のディア・レイクで生まれ、外で遊んでいたところ別の犬に襲われてしまい前足を負傷してしまいました。タイニー・ティムは治療を受けましたが、左足は治療のためしばらくの間固定されることに。
手術を終えたタイニー・ティムは、同じ施設にいる生後７か月のハスキーミックス犬「ニモ」と出会います。「タイニー・ティムは養兄弟のニモに歩き方を教えてもらっています」と投稿された動画には、歩くのが困難だったタイニー・ティムに歩き方を教えているようなニモの姿が。
ニモは前足をあげ、ケンケン歩きをタイニー・ティムに披露します。それを見たタイニー・ティムは彼の真似をするようにニモの後に続きます。

タイニー・ティムが三本足で歩くレクチャーを受けたこの動画は、障害のある犬の世話の経験がある「ノーザンリーチネットワーク」の理事を務めるマナハンさんのお家で撮影されたのだそう。

その後タイニー・ティムは怪我をした前足を切断する手術を受けました。術後は良好で、タイニー・ティムはニモに歩き方を教わったおかげて、上手に歩けている様子も投稿されています。
